Racer Jude Kyle Musedde remained the King of Busiika track in the 50cc class after beating rival Filbert Muwonge in all three heats.
It was sweet revenge over Filbert Muwonge who had beaten him in the sixth round in Kasanje in October and wanted to be crowned the champion with a win but it was not possible.
Musedde now targets the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship in December in Nairobi.

“We are going to keep training in preparation for the Armed Forces Championships and also later in December take the fight to Nairobi for the FIM CAC,” his father Denis Musedde said.
Youngsters impress
The future of motocross in Uganda remains bright if the administrators fix the existing grievances and wrangles once and for all.

This was manifested by the quality of racing that youngsters in the 50cc junior, 65cc, 85cc, and 125cc classes respectively exhibited during the final round of the Mountain Dew National Motocross Championship in Busiika on Sunday.
If FIM-certified trainers are brought in to train these racers including, Jude Musedde, Eadric Musedde, Kylan Wekesa, Filbert Muwonge, Miguel Katende, Jonathan Katende, Larry Sekamwa, Kraidah Nsubuga, Pascal Kasozi, Waleed Omar, Alon Orland, Gift Ssebuguzi and Milton Akaki, the Uganda flag would fly high regularly at international events for the next decade.
The Orland brothers; Stav and Aviv, and Fortune Sentamu have flown the Uganda flag high, but still, their careers have been affected negatively by the 2020 motocross independence revolution and the creation of factions.

However, what was exhibited on Sunday is testimony that Uganda can become a giant in motocross on the continent.
In the 65cc class Miguel Katende won all three classes, while in the 85cc, Kraidah Nsubuga upset the odds by beating Pascal Kasozi to two heats out of three.
In the MX125cc class, Waleed Omar continued to rule the track, winning all three heats with Gift Sebuguzi and Milton Akaki finishing second and third respectively in a tightly contested race.

In the MX1 category class, Stav Orland and fortune Sentamu finished first and second respectively in an entertaining and competitive race.
Kisitu Mayanja, the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda deputy vice president in charge of motorcycling, too was impressed with the quality of racing.
“It has been a good race and much competitive. This gives me confidence that our racers will put up a great show in the armed forces and later the FIM CAC,” Mayanja said.
