Victoria Crocs will be looking to return to winning ways when they face JT Jaguars at ABJA Park on Saturday. Following a mixed run of form, forward Mark Ngobi has declared his side ready for the fight.

“We have had some tough losses, but we are focused and ready to bounce back. This game is very important for us, and we will give our best,” Ngobi said. “We respect every opponent, but we believe in our system and we will play hard to win. We know the Jaguars are strong, but we will fight hard. Every game is a chance to prove ourselves.”

The Crocs have won three of their last five outings, defeating Sommet BC (61-58), UMU Flames (75-57), and JKL Dolphins (63-51), while suffering losses to the Namuwongo Blazers (51-69) and UCU Canons (62-70).

Their opponents, the JT Jaguars, have found the going tougher recently, losing three of their last five matches. They suffered narrow defeats to Sommet BC (72-74) and UPDF Tomahawks (74-75), as well as a heavy loss to the Kampala Rockets (52-70). Their two bright spots were wins against JKL Dolphins (65-59) and KCCA Panthers (51-49).

Currently, Victoria Crocs sit second in the standings with 13 points, while the Jaguars are in tenth place with 7 points. A win for the Crocs is crucial to keep pace with the league leaders; a loss could allow Sommet BC to extend their advantage at the top. For the Jaguars, a victory would lift them off the bottom of the table and provide a much-needed confidence boost for the remainder of the season.
