Peter Obleng recorded a game-high 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Namuwongo Blazers defeated the Victoria Crocs 69-51 at Lugogo.

Obleng has been central to Namuwongo’s strong start to the season and once again stood out as the Blazers secured their third consecutive victory at Lugogo on March 15, 2026.

He shot 5-for-10 from three-point range and 5-for-9 from the field as the Blazers outscored Victoria 21-5 in the second quarter to overturn a two-point deficit they faced at the end of the first quarter.

Arthur Wanyoto, with 10 points, was the only other Blazer to reach double figures. Jimmy Enabu added nine points, six rebounds and four assists.

For Victoria, Chuol Nyot registered 14 points and 11 rebounds while Mark Ngobi contributed 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The Crocs have now won five and lost three this season, a relatively impressive return for them.

Elsewhere, Peter Cheng scored a joint game-high 23 points and added 10 rebounds as Sommet returned to winning ways with a 74-72 victory over the JT Jaguars.

Brighton Galiwango and Abdulahi Emilagbha contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Sommet, who improved to 5-4 for the season.

George Odeke scored 23 points for the Jaguars while Abraham Dut added 21.

Meanwhile, the City Oilers maintained their unbeaten start to the season after defeating the KCCA Panthers 71-60.

Fayed Bbaale and Titus Lual scored a game-high 18 and 12 points, respectively, for the 5-0 Oilers, condemning KCCA to their third loss in six games.

Youngster Waleed Omar led KCCA with 15 points while Davis Asiimwe contributed 10.
