When Toro’s premier was convicted of murdering a prince

On March 23, 1999, just two days before the murder, Prince Kijanangoma phoned a mutual acquaintance, alerting him how he had received credible information suggesting that Katuramu had paid sh6m to assassins to have him (prince) killed, and two days later, on March 25, 1999, Prince Kijanangoma was dead — executed in a mafia-style killing that shocked the nation.
