“There is no direct evidence against Naggayi, but the circumstances surrounding the case strongly connect the accused with the murder of the deceased,” she ruled.
Mutonyi said the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions should have charged two other people who claimed to be working with ISO, as Naggayi’s accomplices.

A Ugandan woman has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing her Finnish boyfriend with a lethal dose of drugs and pesticides for financial gain.
Faridah Naggayi, 36, formerly working as a receptionist in Qatar, was found guilty of poisoning Tuomas Juha Petteri Teräsvuori, a Finnish national, resulting in his death.
However, Naggayi has since appealed against the conviction and sentence. Naggayi committed the offense on February 6, 2018, at Pearl of Africa Hotel, Kampala.
