Moneylender confesses to ritual manslaughter

The arrests followed a September 29 incident in which a human head wrapped in a white kaveera was recovered at a Police post at Kako Cell on the Kako-Mukungwe Road in Nyendo-Mukungwe Division.  The Police later recovered a headless female body at Butale Cell in Kyanamukaka, also in Masaka district, on Saturday. Near the body were a shirt and hat, which residents claimed were Kamugisha’s.

Kamugisha (second-left) was arrested to assist with investigations into the ritual killing of a woman, which occurred in Masaka district.
