Kiteezi: KCCA secures alternative garbage disposal site

Initially, the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) was disposing of approximately 2,000 tons of waste at the Kiteezi landfill daily. However, the site was abruptly closed following a devastating incident on August 10, 2024, where a massive garbage slide resulted in the loss of lives.
