Conduct studies in home economics

According to Dr Grace Muhoozi, a Senior Lecturer and Former Head of the Department, Family Life and Consumer Studies (Home Economics) at Kyambogo University, most of the studies on the subject have been conducted in other African countries and not Uganda.

Teachers of economics have been urged to carry out research that will help grow the subject in Ugandan schools.
