Lady Doves v Rines SS

Olila High School v Kawempe Muslim

She Maroons v Tooro Queens

As the FUFA Women’s Super League climaxes today with all eyes on the title-decider between joint leaders She Corporates and Kampala Queens who are level on points 38 and only separated by a goal difference of one.

The two sides clash today at Makerere University Business School.

The reverse fixture at IUIU Kabojja grounds last month ended in a 2-2 stalemate. She Corporates needed a late equalizer from skipper Catherine Nagadya to salvage an important point on that day from a losing position.

She Corporates went unbeaten the entire first round and had a five-point advantage over Kampala Queens but a poor start to the second round saw them lose 5-0 to Lady Doves away in Masindi followed by a draw at home to Rines SS, Inviting Kampala Queens back into the title conversation.

Both sides have lost once the entire season with Kampala Queens losing the opening game of the season at home to Kawempe Muslim ladies while She Corporates’ only loss  was to Lady Doves.

Kampala Queens’ head coach Hamuza Lutalo has tasked his players to be more aggressive than they were in their 1-0 home win over Olila High School on Tuesday.

“This is a final for us, unlike for them where a draw is enough to make them champions. It is a must-win to make us champions. Our performance against Olila wasn’t good and She Corporates is a side that is hard to beat. We must be aggressive.” Lutalo said.

She Corporates’ Hassan Isa has tasked his players not to think about their goal difference advantage and play to win.

“We have to forget about the goal difference advantage we have over them. We should play to win not for a draw and I have emphasized this. We should not take things for granted,” Isa said

Lady Doves’ Fazila Ikwaput and UCU Lady Cardinals’ Hasifah Nassuna are hoping to win this season’s golden boot. Ikwaput has 14 goals while Nassuna has 12 goals.
