Kampala Queens' head coach Hamza Lutalo has tasked his players to replicate their league performance against Tooro Queens in the Women's Cup.

Kampala Queens who are a point away from being declared league champions have had a good run of results and Lutalo feels they can also do it in the Women's Cup.

"We want to keep performing well in the Women's Cup just like we have done in the league. Our target this season is a double and I feel we are still on course. This is a knockout stage but we shall try to see that we perform better," noted Lutalo.

Kampala Queens edged second-placed Uganda Martyrs 1-0 in the league last weekend in a thrilling encounter and the two sides were only separated by Shamirah Nalugya’s goal, her fourth goal of the season.

"Most of the clubs now prepare so much when they are going to play us hence giving us stiff competition. However, we shall keep going because we are ready for any competition,” he added.

Elsewhere, GYCO Girls will host inform Asubo Gafford while St Noa will play Lady Doves.

The knockout competition will resume on Sunday with She Corporates hosting the Soroti-based side at MUBS grounds having eliminated Dynamic at the previous stage after a 5-1 emphatic win.
