The Netball Super League continues to bring up strong match ups, and this Saturday is no different as some of the top sides take to the courts at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo.

The table leaders UCU have a double header of games from which they will be aiming to claim two wins. They will play against the tenacious Busia Greater Lions and close it out with a match against UPDF at the end of the day.

UCU suffered their first loss of the season last week and will be trying to not make a habit out of losing that is why their battle against UPDF is going to be very hard. The Angels have proved that they are a team that can weather any sort of storm but UPDF too is a side looking to stay in their fourth place on the table.

The other Dynamic matchup is the one between KCCA and Makindye Weyonje. These are two sides looking to realign their season after both have gone astray but it is not something that needs to start now especially for Weyonje who have a lot to gain having played three matches fewer than KCCA.

Lifesport that occupies the third place from bottom on the table has two must win matches one of which is against Busia and UGISA. They need a win in one of these two matches lest they risk making their way up the table. Luckily the two sides that occupy the bottom two places in Posta and UGX Luwero face off so it will give Lifesport who have one victory some reprieve.

Police and Prisons will face off in a battle of the forces as they both search for some consistency.

In the men’s league, Kampala University (KU) will aim to close the gap on league leaders WOB when they face Raising Star. KU have played three fewer matches than WOB and International, making this weekend a key opportunity to climb the standings. With three wins from three, another victory could see them leap past International and intensify the title race.
