Kyambogo University produced an impressive performance, defeating Makerere University of Science and Technology (MUST) 37–10 in the group stage of the Netball AUUS Games at Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono.
The victory strengthens Kyambogo’s ambition to dethrone Victoria University, who won last year’s edition of the tournament.
In another thrilling encounter played on the afternoon of December 20, 2025, Nkumba University edged St. Lawrence University 24–20 in a closely contested and entertaining match.
With such strong performances early on, the netball competition promises to deliver more excitement as universities battle for supremacy in this year’s AUUS Games.
