The JT Jaguars will aim to extend their winning form when they face the Victoria Crocs on Wednesday at Lugogo Indoor Arena in Game Week 4 of the National Basketball League (NBL).
Coming off a 62-58 victory over the JKL Dolphins on Sunday, the Jaguars have regained momentum after a heavy loss to the Namuwongo Blazers last Friday.
Assistant coach Nkoba Cuthbert Yovani expressed satisfaction with the team’s rebound but stressed the need for improvement.
“Victoria Crocs are a strong side, and we’re approaching this game determined to win,” he said. “I’m happy with the recent result, but we must build on it.”
Nkoba highlighted the importance of consistency in aggression and addressing weaknesses.
“Our intensity should remain high in every game. For Wednesday, we must sharpen our weak areas and stay prepared,” he added. “Team chemistry still needs work, but our focus is on securing the win and improving.”
The Jaguars will rely on Peter Sifuma, who starred in their last game with 21 points and 7 rebounds, alongside key contributors Victor Bwana and Aaron John Eboyu.
