Sarvesh Patel scored a match-best 53 as Uganda returned to winning ways with a six-wicket win over MCA Colts today at Aadani Stadium in Mumbai.

The Cricket Cranes suffered their first loss of the tour to India yesterday, falling by one wicket to the Mumbai Falcons in the first fixture of the T20 series. Today, Uganda controlled proceedings from the start, even after losing the toss.

Enock Kasaija continued his notable start to his international career, picking 2/25 in three overs. Tanvish Vaze finished with a game-best 3/26 overs for the Cricket Cranes, before returning to score 38 off 25 as Uganda chased MCA’s 133.

Anas Mirza added 13 runs for Uganda, who completed their chase with one over to spare.

Naman Jhawar and Satyam Chaudhary led MCA with 33 and 32 runs respectively, but could not prevent a fifth straight loss to Steve Tikolo’s side.
