All set for MOSAC Autocross Championship

Organisers of MOSAC Autocross Championship today inspected the track in Bukandula in Gomba-Butambala that is set to host the event on Sunday.

The one-day event is the third round of the National Autocross Championship.

The first edition was held in Fort Portal, the second in Namataba, Mukono and Sunday’s event will be the third edition.

The 11.5km race will be held on Sunday and is expected to attract all drivers from the Clubman Rally Championships and the 2WD competitors.

The track, located on Bukandula hill, has the best viewing spots on top of safety measures.

Helena Alum, the event manager, said the track is ready and that fans should expect the drivers to give them value for money.

Lionel Kavuma Kabenge, the track’s proprietor, said it was built to promote sports in the region.

Rookies Joshua Muwanguzi and Ali Ashraf Mohammad are some of the drivers expected to take part.
