Scientists teach human cells to compute, paving way for smarter cancer treatments

In a study published in Nature Communications, the researchers described a new system that enables cells to process biological signals simultaneously. Instead of reacting to just one sign of disease, the cells can check for a specific combination of signals before taking action.
