Zimbabwe's Mnangagwa departs after attending African forum in Kampala

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe flew back home after attending the 11th Session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-11) in Uganda's capital Kampala.

President Yoweri Museveni officiated at the three-day meeting, which took place at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Munyonyo.
The forum was held under the theme: 'Driving job creation and economic growth through sustainable, inclusive, science and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063.'

ARFSD is an annual platform convened by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in collaboration with the African Union and host governments.

The Ugandan officials who were present at Entebbe were: Public service minister Wilson Muluri Mukasa, Deputy Inspector General of Police James Ochaya, Deputy Commissioner General of Prisons, Samuel Akena and Maj. Gen. David Isimbwa, the Deputy Commander of UPDF Air Force.
