How King Oyo’s father died

Crowned at 20, Kaboyo lost his throne at 21, regained it after 26 years. he died at 49. Kaboyo told the driver: “Take me to my kingdom. I don’t want to die from here. Omukama has to die in his kingdom.” At around 1:00am, a visibly sad-looking Kaboyo sat in the back seat of his car, and his final journey from Kampala started. Not long after arriving in Toro, he developed more stomach upsets. He then collapsed and died on August 26, 1995. His sister, Bagaya, collected samples of his vomit to test and ascertain the cause of his death.
