When Otwii's colleagues retrieved his body from the debris, the Police Fire and Rescue services took the body to Lira Regional Referral Hospital pending post-mortem.

Olila is the owner of the house which collapsed.

City Police commander east division Joseph Bakaleke, who was at the scene, declined to comment about the incident.

He referred reporters to Kyoga Region Police spokesperson Jimmy Patrick Okema, who was unavailable.
