TEACHERS | MAKING | DIFFERNCE

AMSTERDAM - Uganda's best teachers who won the 2019 and 2020 Teachers Making a Difference competition on Thursday made a stop over in Amsterdam, Netherlands and thereafter proceeded for a study trip in Ireland.

The teachers, twelve in number, emerged winners after Vision Group's Teachers Making Difference project.

At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in Netherlands, they were briefed by Lorraine Gallagher, the Head of Cooperation at the Irish Embassy in Kampala.

Having left Uganda on Wednesday evening, the team is expected in Dublin, Ireland this afternoon for a weeklong study tour.

The teachers are; Rose Moiti, Busesa Primary School, Iganga, Tracy Juliet Nansubuga, Gayaza High School, Wakiso, Sr. Gladyce Kachope, Immaculate Heart Secondary School, Nyakibale, Rukungiri, Samuel Abong, Naitakwae Primary School, Moroto, Susan Okello, Kotido Mixed Primary School, Kotido and Manyindo Frank Mugene, Nyakasura School, Fort Portal.
