Top city police operative found dead, here is what we know so far

Walugembe rose to prominence in Uganda’s security circles between 2011 and 2016, when he was part of a surveillance team that trailed opposition leader Dr Kizza Besigye.

Police received information about Walugembe’s death at around 12:09am and rushed to the scene, where they had to break down the door to gain access to the house since he had locked himself inside.
