Armed gang shoots private guard dead, steals sh28m

Asuman Damba, 35, an employee of Tactical Security Company, was guarding premises at Kyolina Kyekikweyimilira Company, a moneylending and mobile money point when the attackers struck.

Police said the incident occurred at about 7:45pm when four armed men riding on two motorcycles stormed the premises, shot Damba dead at close range, and grabbed sh28m before fleeing towards the Kiwatule– Naalya direction.
