Hundreds of Anglican faithful flocked to Christ Church Parish in Bardege–Layibi Division, Gulu city, today (13 April 2025) to mark Palm Sunday.

The three regular services — 6:30am to 8:30am (in Luo), 8:30am to 10:30am (in English), and 10:30am to midday (in Luo) — were all filled beyond capacity. Parishioners turned up in their best attire and joyful spirits.

Almost everyone carried palm leaves, waving them while singing hymns and praise songs throughout the services.

The services were led by Rev. Peter Oyat Oola, Curate of Christ Church Parish, who was assisted by a reverend ordinand and lay readers.

New Vision brings you the full story in pictures.
