Lawyer Balondemu to be charged over fresh fraud allegations

Balondemu, was arrested by State House Anti-Corruption Unit (SHACU) and detectives from Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) from Entebbe International Airport moments after he landed from Dubai.

Kampala District Land Board (KDLB) chairperson, David Balondemu (handcuffed), arrives at Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 to be charged of Forgery and conspiracy to commit a felony. According to the charge sheet, Balondemu is charged alongside Hassan Ssegujja, a medical doctor with Mulago hospital.
