A delegation of Ugandan teachers on Friday, October 3, 2025, embarked on an inspiring journey to Ireland aboard flight KL 535, an Airbus A330-200 bound for Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands, before connecting to Dublin. Their final destination is the elegant Trinity City Hotel, a five-star establishment nestled in the heart of Dublin, where they will reside during their stay.

For many of these educators, this marks their first-ever flight—a milestone filled with excitement, anticipation, and pride. The trip represents not only a professional development opportunity but also a dream come true for those who have long aspired to experience international exposure.

This remarkable journey has been made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Teachers Making a Difference (TMD) program, which continues to empower Ugandan educators with global insights and practical skills to enhance their teaching back home.

As they took to the skies, the teachers carried with them the hopes of their schools and communities—ready to learn, share, and return with experiences that will shape the future of education in Uganda.
