After hours in the air, the delegation of Ugandan teachers safely landed at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 8:15 am, marking the first leg of their journey to Ireland for the
Teachers Making a Difference (TMD) program.

Upon arrival, the teachers were organised into three groups, each led by a team leader: Dr Mugisha Annet from the Ministry of Education and Sports, John Eryemu from New Vision, and Angella from the Embassy of Ireland in Uganda. The leaders took time to brief their groups, offer guidance, and share personal travel experiences—helping to keep spirits high as the team prepared for the final leg of their trip.

At 11:00 am, the delegation boarded their connecting flight to Dublin Airport in Ireland. For many participants, this journey brought a rare thrill—the chance to fly on two different aircraft in one day, an experience that deepened the sense of adventure and learning.

Excitement and awe could be seen on the teacher's faces—moments of discovery at Schiphol, the hum of departure gates, and the joy of taking to the skies once again—each frame telling a story of growth, connection, and dreams taking flight.
