Over 20,000 pupils in PLE fraud
Although the children pay exorbitant fees to their previous schools for PLE, the right amounts of the funds are never remitted to the Government and the learners are registered for free as UPE-funded learners. However, with effect from this year’s examinations, PLE candidates who were registered in this manner will not receive their results unless they clear the arrears.
