Inside ambitious govt plan to hire 33,000 teachers
The recruitment plan further indicates that a total of 5,880 will be recruited during 2027/2028 financial year, and 8,820 will be recruited in 2028/29. In the financial year 2029/2030, the country will witness record numbers, with the Government expected to recruit at least 12,348 new teachers that year.
At least 3,000 teachers will be recruited in the financial year 2025/2026.
