Govt to delete striking teachers off payroll
Public service minister Wilson Muruli Mukasa asked striking teachers and local government workers to resume duty within a week or resign to pave the way for fresh recruitments.
New Vision has also learnt that the Government intends to utilise the salaries of absent striking teachers to be deleted to pay those who will be hired on part-time basis to conclude the term. (New Vision/Files
