BRIDE & GROOM EXPO
KAMPALA - The atmosphere in the Bride & Groom Expo performance hall was ecstatic.
As the expo attendees sang along, the pandemonium shook the room. She wiggled her waist and shook her body so vigorously, you might have thought it was going to fall off.

Winnie Nwagi entertains Vision Group Bride and Groom Expo goers.
I relished her performance; each song was a seamless sing-along. She did not have to do much because the crowd had her back, making it seem as if she had rehearsed with her fans. My God! Winnie Nwagi is exactly who she says she is.
I had always watched videos of her electrifying performances, but I had never seen her work in front of a crowd live. If you missed out on her performance, make sure you attend her next live show. You definitely will not regret it.
At the Bride and Groom Expo, which has been running since Friday, June 28 and is slated to close today, June 30, Nwagi was meant to start her performance at about 8:00p.m, after several models walked the runway, but she got delayed for a couple of minutes and I was not patient enough to wait for the models to finish.
So, I excused myself and went for a drink.
A few minutes later, while enjoying my drink, I heard a clamorous sound coming from what seemed to be a huge crowd. I jumped off my seat and ran to find out what was happening, only to fineNwagi had graced the stage.
Her fans were singing along, holding their phone cameras to capture the diva, while others took selfies. In her red silky dress, she worked the crowd like a pro.
She was not in a hurry, and she walked the stage as if her life depended on it.
Everything was at a different energy level for her fans.
She performed for an hour, but it felt like just 10 minutes. After watching her electrifying performance, I finally understood why Nwagi is still a force to be reckoned with, despite the few controversial issues surrounding her career. Nwagi deserves her flowers.
