Religious leaders in Uganda have renewed their commitment to work with the government on the socio-economic transformation agenda.

Inter-Religious Council of Uganda presidents led by their chair, Archbishop of Church of Uganda, Dr. Stephen Kaziimba, made the remarks while meeting the ministry of finance officials in Kampala on Wednesday.

They prayed for the permanent secretary, Ramathan Ggoobi to do God's will at the finance ministry.

Ggoobi welcomed them and pledged to work with them to enhance the incomes of the households and improve service delivery in the country.
