Parishioners of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, Nabbingo (in Wakiso district) are in great excitement following the diaconal ordination of one of their major seminarians.

The Rev. Deacon Aloysius Gonzaga Nsibambi, a confrere of the Catholic Religious Congregation of the Holy Ghost, was ordained in Nairobi, Kenya, on September 25 (21).

The parishioners of Nabbingo subsequently organised for him a thanksgiving function at the church on Sunday (October 3).

The function began with a thanksgiving mass at 3:00pm. It was presided over by the assistant parish-priest, Fr. Joseph Ssendi.

The Chaplain of Trinity College Nabbingo, Fr. John Chrysostom Kiwanuka and the parish-priest of Mulago, Fr Nicholas Kerebba (a member of the missionary society of the Holy Ghost) also celebrated.

After mass, the Christians were treated to an exciting reception at Trinity College Nabbingo (Main Hall).
