Insurance fraternity mourns Frank Kizito

Kizito was praised during his funeral function at his home in Nabbingo, Wakiso district on Friday (February 25).

Tributes have been paid to Frank Kizito, an insurance expert and veteran local council leader who died from natural causes on February 23, at the age of 72. 

Kizito was praised during his funeral function at his home in Nabbingo, Wakiso district on Friday (February 25).

Among those that praised Kizito is veteran Insurance Manager, Chevalier Joseph Kiwanuka, who described the deceased as a passionate promoter of the Insurance Instrument.

In his condolence message, which was read for him by his assistant, Kiwanuka also paid tribute to Kizito for mentoring many Insurance professionals, who are now contributing enormously to the development of the industry and the country.

The Catholic parish priest of Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church, Nabbingo, the Rev. Fr. Charles Kiggundu also spoke warmly of Kizito, describing him as an exemplary Christian of deep religious devotion. Kiggundu further marvelled at Kizito’s commitment to the faith.

Rotarian Fred Kabuye, a Catholic leader also marvelled at Kizito’s goodwill and humble disposition, which he said should be emulated by all people.

Kizito’s fact file

The Insurance expert and veteran local council leader Frank Kizito was born in Kalungu on February 14, 1950. He is the son of the late Yozefu Lwanga and Theresa Namirembe.
