Enjoy a feast of music, talk shows, drama and loads of laughs on Africa Magic Swahili this November! Here are some of the programmes you can look forward to.

Ngoma: This is the New East African Music show on Africa Magic Swahili which aims to celebrate music within the region.  Ngoma means drum in Swahili. It is exciting and fresh. You can watch it on Fridays at 16:00 CAT.

Wanawake Live: This talk show, hosted by Joyce Kiria focuses on an array of issues which are more focused on women. She covers topics like ‘Should beauty be used as a source of income?’ This talk show airs on Fridays at 16:30 CAT.

Unfaithful: Khadija implores Melissa to marry Mr. Benson so as to lead a better life and telling her that her brother Dennis seemed unsure of the direction their relationship was leading. Watch this drama on Saturdays at 18:00 CAT.

Vitimbi: Join the hilarious cast of Vitimbi and find out what new dilemma Mzee Ojwang’ has to face this time around. It airs on the channel on Thursdays at 18:30 CAT.

AFRICA MAGIC PLUS (DStv Channel 115)

November is sizzling hot on Africa Magic Plus with the wide selection of exciting programmes from movies to educational and informative documentaries.

What Men Can Do: Tells a story of women in the society who believe that the only reason why men are the successful ones in society is because they belong to one cult or the other. In order for them to compete with men they have to do what they believe men do to become successful. But what happens when they discover there is a price to pay? Find out when the movie airs on 22 November at 19:55 CAT.

Documentaries

Mambety: This is a brilliantly illuminating documentary about the late, great African film-maker Djibril Diop Mambety. It captures the creative and spiritual essence of a giant of African cinema. Papa Madieye Mbaye’s documentary is a mini-master class in working on and thinking about a film. Invaluably, it shows Djibril Diop Mambety on location, considering frames, rehearsing actors, and encouraging cast and crew.
