Makerere University's top management has suspended Dr. Stella Nyanzi for striping naked and sharing her nude photos on social media on Monday.

The appointments Board of Makerere University has recommended immediate suspension of Dr. Stella Nyanzi who last week stripped naked in protest over mistreatment by his boss, Prof. Mahmood Mamdani.
The meeting held on Friday at the university also agreed to set up a special committee of the Appointments Board to carry out an in-depth investigation into the activities of Makerere Institute of Social Research (MISR).
Nyanzi, a research fellow at the institute protested against Prof. Mamdani's management style.
The committee of the Appointment's Board is expected to commence work on Monday and submit its report within 25 days.
The committee is also expected to review a number of things including the working environment at MISR and how research is conducted at the institute.
The Appointments board has also banned members of staff of Makerere University from discussing Nyanzi's issues in the media during the time, the investigations will be conducted.
The board warned that whoever will undermine the directive will be subjected to a disciplinary action.
