Riders took to the track in Busiika in the first leg of the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship on Easter Saturday with Uganda taking the lead in the two-day event.

Gift Sebuguzi (85cc), Milton Akaki (MX125), Miguel Katende (MX65), and Jude Kyle Musede (MX50) won their events on day one.

The riders return to the track today for the last two heats at the Uganda Motocross Arena Busiika targeting to stretch the lead and also cement their targets of winning medals.

The FIM CAC is a regional event between Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

On Easter Sunday after the two Motocross Heats, fans will be treated to a rally sprint as a family day celebration.

Event manager Denis Musede told Vision Sport all went well on day one and he expects the same on the final day.
