The vibrant town of Jinja was buzzing with excitement on Good Friday as the Guinness Bright House made a thrilling stop in the heart of the city.

Guinness Bright House has become synonymous with immersive creative experiences, tailoring specific events for different regions.

In Jinja, a place known for its passion for sports and music, the event was a dynamic fusion of both worlds. The day kicked off with adrenaline-pumping rugby games, drawing in over 15 teams and enthusiasts. Winners of the men's and women's categories walked away with enticing cash prizes.

Roy Ronald Tumwizere, the Guinness brand manager, expressed his excitement at the successful kickoff of the Bright House Tour. He introduced changes targeting specific creative passions in each region, describing the event as the Guinness Bright House Sports and Music edition tailored for Jinja consumers.

Guinness also announced a partnership with three rugby sides - Kobs, Rhinos, and Warriors - committing over 400 million annually to support the teams.

The day concluded with a mesmerising musical experience headlined by Guinness brand ambassador Azawi.

Azawi's performance featured hits from her Sankofa album and culminated in a crowd-singing experience with her recent hit Masavu. Azawi paid tribute to the late singer Mowzey Radio, a Jinja native whose artistry inspired her musical journey. She closed her set with Majje, a song resonating deeply with the youth and revellers.

Local DJ talents like DJ Nyowe, DJ Csila, MC Lithan, DJ Dranix, and DJ Mary JO warmed up the crowd.

With Jinja setting the bar high, the Guinness Bright House tour is now ready for its next exciting destination, promising more electrifying experiences ahead in other regions.
