Obleng, Wanyoto shine as Namuwongo take game 3

Anthony Chukurwa grabbed 14 points for the Blazers, who halved the series deficit thanks to a powerful second-half display, marked by a collective energy on one hand and Tony Drileba's game-management on the other.

This was Drileba's first game of the series and he made a telling difference for the Blazers down the stretch. The two points, nine assists and five rebounds that he had tell half the story of Drileba's impact on Namuwongo's game.

Oilers Mer Maker tied Obleng with 20 points, with the star combo of Kurt Wegscheider and Chad Bowie contributing 18 and 17 points respectively for the defending champions.

Bowie looked sprightly but he finished 4-of-16 from the field. Just as notably, Titus Lual finished scoreless in 27 minutes, taking just five shots, while Edgar Munaba and Ben Komakech finished with zero points for the Oilers.

Fayed Bbaale had 12 for the Oilers, who led 44-42 at halftime but were held to 26 points in the entire second half by the Blazers.
