CHAN 2024: Niger settles in with second training session at Kyambogo

The West African team was the first to arrive in the country on Tuesday in preparation for their opening match against Guinea on Monday.

Niger continued their acclimatization to the Ugandan weather and pitch conditions with their second training session at the Kyambogo training ground on Thursday. 

The West African team was the first to arrive in the country on Tuesday in preparation for their opening match against Guinea on Monday. On the same day, Uganda will kick off its campaign against Algeria at the Mandela National Stadium. 

Niger brought a 40-man contingent, including 28 players, and first trained on the Kyambogo turf on Wednesday night. They are gearing up to compete in Group C against the hosts Uganda, Guinea, South Africa, and Algeria.

Niger is currently staying at the Protea Skyz Hotel in Naguru, Kampala. Following their opening match against Guinea, Niger will play again on August 11 against Uganda before traveling for their final classification match against Algeria at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi on August 18.
