Midfielder Kasule brings lessons from the US to KCCA's title push

New KCCA FC midfielder Ibrahim Kasule has promised to use the experience he gained plying his trade in the United States to help the club achieve its targets.
Kasule joined KCCA on a two-year deal after spending the last three years playing in the United States.
The midfielder featured for New York Red Bulls II and most recently played for CT United in MLS Next Pro.
Kasule said he is excited to join a club with big ambitions and is ready to contribute to the team.
“For me, joining KCCA FC feels like coming to a club with great ambition. I have gained invaluable experience and exposure during my time in the United States and abroad, and I want to use everything I have learned to help this team achieve great things,” Kasule said.
He is also looking forward to playing in front of KCCA supporters at Lugogo.
“The project here is exciting, and I cannot wait to play in front of the yellow army at Lugogo,” he added.
“Kasule is a special talent and a player who perfectly fits the identity we are building at KCCA FC,” Ssenyondo said.
“He brings exceptional quality on the ball, sharpness in the final third, and the composure needed in games.”
Ssenyondo also believes Kasule has grown from his time in the MLS system.
“I believe his time playing in the MLS system has matured him significantly. Having a player of his calibre in midfield gives us new tactical dimensions,” he said.
Kasule can play as a number eight or number 10 and can also operate on the flanks.
Before moving to the United States in 2023, he played for Wakiso Giants.
Elsewhere, Uganda Cranes defender Rogers Ochaki Torach has moved to Algerian side CS Constantine, where he has signed a three-year contract after leaving Vipers SC.
The move gives the defender an opportunity to continue his development outside Uganda.
Torach has represented Uganda at senior, U20 and U23 levels. He was part of the Cranes team that reached the CHAN quarter-finals and helped Uganda's U23 team win silver at the African Games in Accra.
At Vipers, he became known for his calm defending, aerial ability and strength at the back.
Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Oyirwoth has joined Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on loan from New England Revolution until May 2027, with an option to buy.
The move gives the midfielder another opportunity to develop his career in Europe.
Oyirwoth made 15 appearances for New England Revolution II this season and scored once. He has also made three appearances for the senior team and has three Uganda Cranes caps.
The Pakwach-born player also won a silver medal with Uganda at the 2023 African Games in Accra.
