Swimmer Larry Feni Glain has been recognised for winning two gold medals at the Summer Special Olympics Games last month in Berlin, Germany.

He was today awarded the Real Stars Fortbet Award at Torino restaurant in Kololo along with five others from different disciplines.

Larry won the gold medals in the 50m breaststroke and 25m freestyle events and for the awards. He beat fellow competitors at Berlin Cleopatra Rhabaha of Table Tennis who won a silver medal and

Praise Odoi who got a bronze in Swimming.

Speaking on his behalf, his coach Vincent Kibira said they want to make him reap more not only in the country but also on the world stage.

In table tennis, it was Nakasero Club players who also appear for Kibuli SSS Parvin Nangonzi who was awarded a Real Stars award for the second time this year.

She won the Korea Friendship Championship in Lugogo after beating compatriot Shanita Namaala 2-0.

Nangonzi was gauged for the month with other table tennis players Benjamin Achuma and Samuel Ankunda.

Cricket was the other sport considered by Real Stars and Henry Ssenyondo, the slow left-arm orthodox left thrower was crowned for having excelled in the inaugural Continent T20 in Nairobi where he achieved four man of the match accolades that guided Uganda to the final.

The crew of rally drivers Yasin Nasser/Ali Katumba also picked the Real Stars accolade for the second time in the year after winning the Kabalega Rally.

The crew was up against Ponsiano Lwakataka/Paul Musaazi and Ibrahim Lubega/ Geoffrey Serwoga.

Motocross was also considered a success in June where Gift Sebuguzi emerged winner after excelling in the fifth round of the Mountain Dew National Motocross championship in Garuga.
