Kitara FC has extended its discounted ticket sale as anticipation grows ahead of Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup return leg against Mogadishu City Club at Hoima City Stadium.

The early bird offer, which was initially scheduled for Wednesday, will now run until Friday, September 11, giving supporters another opportunity to secure ordinary tickets at sh15,000.

The decision follows a strong response from supporters, with the club reporting heavy demand for the discounted tickets on Wednesday.

Kitara president Deo Kasozi confirmed the extension, urging more fans to take advantage of the offer and turn up in large numbers for the crucial continental fixture.

“The fans have responded so well to the early bird tickets, so as a club we’ve decided to extend the sale until Friday,” Kasozi said.

The discounted tickets are strictly available for physical purchases at the Kitara club office on Main Street, opposite Stanbic Bank, and at the supporters’ office in Kinubi along the Hoima-Kampala road.

Regular prices remain sh20,000 for ordinary tickets and sh50,000 for VIP tickets, with online buyers required to pay the standard rates.

Kitara are looking to complete the job after securing a 2-1 victory away to Mogadishu City in the first leg played on September 6. The Ugandan side now needs to protect its advantage at home to progress to the second preliminary stage of the competition.

Kasozi has called on supporters from across Bunyoro and beyond to fill Hoima City Stadium for the 4pm kick-off.

The club has also deployed a branded mobile van to sell tickets across Bunyoro districts, targeting fans who may not be able to access the club offices in Hoima.

The return leg is expected to attract a large crowd following the impressive turnout in the first leg, which drew 15,061 spectators.

Fans can also purchase tickets online at the regular rates.
