The much sought-after I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series returns at Entebbe Club on Saturday with over 200 golfers at the par-71 course.

The second round of the series will see the competition adopting yet another fun, but challenging play format- the ‘Tee for Me’ format.

The Tee for Me format will see players pair up, with each of the golfers teeing off at each hole, the pair will then switch balls for their second shot and play that ball until they hole out.

The better net score of the pair on each hole is the score that will count as the team score. However, each team must choose six holes where each player plays their own ball from the tee shot to when the ball is holed out.

The team score will be determined by the net score, with each pair designating six holes for individual play which must be declared to their marker At these holes the worse net score will count as the team score.

It promises to be a day filled with competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship at East Africa’s oldest golf facility.
This event holds special significance for the title sponsors- I&M Bank, as it coincides with their golden jubilee celebrations held on Friday at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
