Kampala Queens FC, the current Champions of the national omen's football league have parted ways with head coach Charles Ssenyange.
Ssenyange joined the team last July as a replacement for coach Hamza Lutalo who was sacked after helping them win the league unbeaten last season. Since then, Kampala Queens have been in poor form.
Despite being at the top of the table in the FUFA Women's Super League, the team is struggling to win games and they have failed to convince their fans that they can defend the league title.
“Kampala Queens Football Club has agreed with head Coach Mr. Samuel Charles Ssenyange Nsanziro to end his service provision to the club with his entire technical team apart from assistant coach Tonny Mawejje, team Doctor Ronald Mutebi and administrator Cissy Nakiguba,” the team said in a statement.
According to a reliable source, the club is currently in talks with the former Crested Cranes (The National senior women's team), Simba Queens FC (Tanzania), and She Corporate FC, Charles Lukula Ayiekho.
Kampala Queens FC return to action on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, against stubborn Kawempe Moslem Ladies FC at Kabojja.
