The youthful major seminarians from St Mary's National Seminary Ggaba, St. Paul's National Major Seminary Kinyamasika, and St Mbaaga's Major Seminary Ggaba were presented to the Archbishop of Kampala, the Most Rev. Paul Ssemogerere during the Chrism mass at Rubaga Cathedral on Holy Thursday.

The Archbishop expressed joy at receiving the candidates before praying for them.

He also thanked their formators at the respective major seminaries for training and guiding them. He finally asked the Catholic faithful to pray for them.

If all goes well, the 23 young men will be ordained as Roman Catholic deacons of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kampala come August (2024).
