Jude Musede targets podium at Motocross of Africa Nations in Namibia
The 13-year-old rider is part of the 30-man strong team heading to the continental event and targets finishing in the podium bracket.

Jude Kyle Musede will shoulder Uganda's 65cc class team at the Motocross of Africa Nations (MXOAN) in Windhoek, Namibia.
The 13-year-old rider is part of the 30-man strong team heading to the continental event and targets finishing in the podium bracket.
Last year, Musede finished 12th overall in the event held at the Donnybrook Race Arena in Harare, Zimbabwe, where South Africa emerged as the overall winner, while Uganda's team finished third overall, winning a bronze medal.
According to Dennis Musede, the father of Jude, his son is more than ready to take on the challenge of the foreign tough competition.
"That being his first year in the class, it was a learning moment for us as a team. Besides, he raced with riders who had run 4-5 years in the class. This year, we have our hopes high," Musede said.
"Most of the riders in the class began racing last year. This therefore means the big contenders, including Jude, have similar competence and experience. We therefore, by God's grace, have a chance of taking the championship this year," Musede added.
Riding a 2025 KTM, Musede is likely to race the 2027 KTM bike in the competition that is expected to be more gruelling, with other racers from South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar.
The other racers in the class include Edric Musede, Jaysen Katek, Solomon Winyi, and Jerome Mulumba.
