The JT Lady Jaguars continued their dominant run in the National Basketball League, securing a convincing 69-52 victory over the UPDF Lady Tomahawks for their third straight win.
From the opening tip-off, the Lady Jaguars controlled the game, establishing a 19-11 first-quarter lead before stretching it to 40-18 by halftime.

Mercy Batamuliza anchored the team's strong performance with 7 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block by halftime, while forward Aziida Lubega added 14 points and 8 rebounds.
"We fought hard for this win, our biggest so far," Lubega said. "Even when our shots weren't falling, we stayed focused. We'll keep working to improve and aim to win as many games as possible this season."
The Lady Jaguars' stifling defense proved decisive, holding UPDF to just 11 points in the first quarter and 18 by halftime.
In another lopsided contest, the Miracle Eaglets set a new benchmark with a crushing 101-54 win over the struggling Nkumba Lady Marines. Star player Mariam Namukwaya continued her stellar form with a game-high 32 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks, receiving strong support from Akello Winnifred (22 points, 21 rebounds) and Brenda Alyano (17 points, 4 rebounds).
The Eaglets established their dominance early with a 24-8 first-quarter lead and never relented, building a 42-point advantage by the third quarter. Meanwhile, Nkumba's winless start to the season extended to five games, leaving them searching for answers as they look to turn their campaign around.
