Express FC is in search of a new coach following the resignation of Alex Isabirye.

It’s reported that Vialli Bainomugisha and Baker Mbowa are some of the coaches who have lined up for the job.

Rusal Sports Management which handles Isabirye confirmed the exit of their client.

“Our client Alex Isabirye is no longer Express FC head coach with immediate effect,” they posted on their social media platform

Sources close to former Vipers and BUL tactician revealed to New Vision that Isabirye took the decision painfully after the environment at the club was no longer conducive.

Isabirye blamed the club management for failure to look into the critical matters that were affecting the progress of the team.

It is not surprising the leadership gap at Express has been wide ever since Kiryowa Kiwanuka was appointed Attorney General.

Even when he had his brother, Suubi Kiwanuka take over the club leadership due to their strong family ties with the founding father of the club Jolly Joe Kiwanuka, nothing changed.
