The management of Gaddafi FC along with new club sponsors Modern industries have tasked head coach Wasswa Bbosa and his technical team to do what it takes to make Gaddafi FC a top four side this season.
During the club's squad unveiling that took place at Gaddafi arena on Saturday, club president, Eldrine Ochieng as well as the club's top brass headed by patron Lt. Gen. Perez Muhwezi as well as new club CEO Saleh Salmin.
"Our main plan was to study the league in our first season and that paid off when we finished eighth, yet we wanted to avoid being relegated. As owners, we have entrusted our coach Wasswa with his own technical team as well with a very good squad of very experienced players in the league. We have given him a target of leading the team into a top four finish," said club president Ochieng.
New Club sponsor Jagdish Srivastava who doubles as Modern industries managing director promised to financially motivate the team .
"For everything to have better results, motivating factor comes in to drive everything and that's why we have come in to help this club,"said Modern boss.
Meanwhile, coach Wasswa Bbosa warned that he has received enough motivation he needed to reach his targets.
"I have been given freedom to bring the required players that will help me steer up the team into top four finish. Now that I have got it,I want to make this team the most feared one to face in the league," warned Bbosa.
Bbosa will share the club dugout at the club's new home at Kakindu with former crested cranes tactician George William Lutalo as his assistant alongside with Hassan Zungu.
A contingent of former Express FC winning technical bench of goalkeeping coach Sam Kawalya, fitness coach Ayub Balyejusa and team doctor Roger Makubuya.
Team
Forward Simon Sserunkuuma, midfielders Nicolous Kasozi,Elvis Ngonde and winger Godfrey Lwesibawa are some of the high profile new recruits expected to improve on the team's status in the league.
Meanwhile Ochieng also added that his team management is making all necessary procedures needed to have the team change its name to Modern FC.
