Futsal Super League
Aidenal maintained its two-point gap atop the Futsal Super League standings after securing a pair of wins.
They defeated Kabowa Dreams 5-4 and Talent Bridge 7-4 to move to 16 points, two above Park FC.
The victory saw Aidenal extend their unbeaten to eight games as they continue their quest for the title.
With a few games played in the league, the competition is really high as several players are hoping to impress and earn a call up for the upcoming national team engagements.
One of those is the 2026 Youth Olympics qualifiers and according to Futsal Association Uganda chairman Hamza Jjunju, they have already started planning for the team they will assemble for the games.
“Our technical team is monitoring our players on how they are performing. We are not only at the Youth Olympics but also at upcoming competitions. That is why we have started plans to spot talents from schools and universities,” stated Jjunju.
Elsewhere, defending champions Park kept up the pressure on Aidenal with 6-0 and 7-2 defeats of Talent Bridge and ASAKA respectively.
